A floor is a girls floor and is the top floor of the building. Due to the fact that mcintosh used to be several different buildings with different floor plans a floor is shorter than any other floor and has rumours of being haunted. It is one of three halls of the same design on denali lane. Mcintosh hall is a small friendly and welcoming hall with a strong community spirit.

In addition to the dining room each floor also has its own kitchen. Free wifi access is available throughout the property. One of the advantages of being a small hall is our strong community spirit. Mcintosh is a catered hall and is renowned for the quality of its food.

Located 600 feet from the world famous old golf course mcintosh hall benefits from a central location in st andrews. There is always a friendly face in mcintosh and the wardens residential services managers kitchen staff and porters work hard to ensure that mcintosh feels like home. Other facilities offered at the property include a vending machine. One of the stunning features of this floor plan is the grand kitchen and great room with a vaulted ceiling.

Each room at mcintosh hall features a desk study chair handbasin and tea coffee making facilities. It was the last remaining all male residence hall on campus until 1998 when it went coed by floor. The student committee is active and accessible and arranges a variety of student led social events throughout the year including hall quizzes sports events beach games and more. Mcintosh has lounge areas on the second and third floors equipped with a kitchenette and furniture.
