Maytag Stove Oven Door Locked

The control lockout prevents the stove from being used which is useful if leaving older children home alone or when you go on vacation.

Disconnect power to range for 30 seconds. Allow the oven to cool approximately 30 90 minutes move the latch arm to the left to unlock the door. What do i do. I was cooking some french fries and i turned it off because they were done.
